The linear actuator Vario 2 is not just suited for use in shipbuilding. The largest linear actuator from von elero also demonstrates its capabilities In equally tough cases, such as special engineering applications, materials handling equipment und communications engineering, as well as in the construction of overhead contact lines. To this end the development team has doubled the capacity of the actuator: Instead of the 50 kN to date the Vario 2 is now available with a maximum driving force of 100 kN. The adjustable end positions and the exact position positioning ensure precision despite the tremendous forces at work. elero offers the Vario with standard stroke speeds of 1 - 70 mm/s and a maximum stroke length of 1000 mm. Individual actuator solutions are available on request.
 

 
Great strength in a small space
 
Thanks to its specific actuator features, the robust material qualities and the low level of maintenance required, the Vario is particularly suited to situations with high loads. Thus it is used as a drive unit element for large cutter lift tables, in industrial kiln construction for the opening and closing of the furnace chambers, and in the printing industry for the precise positioning of sheets prior to cutting.
